Huseby: Traditional Kitchen Carpentry Meets Digital Sales Magic
Huseby AS has been manufacturing kitchens for over 40 years. From their factory in Vestfold, Norway they deliver true craftmanship to 30 stores all over the long country of Norway.
Retail operations manager Erik Biltvedt is responsible for the followup and training of salespeople at Huseby. Some of them exclusively sell Huseby kitchens, others sell 2-3 competing brands as well. All of them need knowledge about the products.
Erik started using the MevoApp to organize sales contests and communicate directly with his salespeople. And he’s very excited about the results:
– It really motivates the salespeople when they can follow the live leaderboard and see their own results in the app, says Erik.
The app users register sales, answer educational quizzes, and compete amongst each other to win great prizes.
– We can clearly see an increase in the sales of our brand when we have used Mevo to organize a sales contest. The more knowledge salespeople have about our brand’s products, the more they sell, says Erik.
Erik is also very excited about the possibility to share information about electrical appliances from partnerings brands through the app.
– It’s very much appreciated when we can educate salespeople about products from our partners as well as our own kitchens. Of course, it makes the store staff even more equipped to help out their customers when they can answer questions about the complete kitchen solutions, says Erik.
He enjoys using the Mevo tool, setting up campaigns and communicating with the salespeople through the messaging function.
